Support Pennsylvania's medical marijuana bill

Dear MPP Supporter :

Can you believe that Pennsylvania treats patients with cancer and other serious illnesses as criminals if they relieve their suffering with the medical use of marijuana?

This year we could finally change that. Rep. Mark Cohen (D-Philadelphia) has introduced HB 1393, which will protect seriously ill Pennsylvania residents from arrest and prosecution for using medical marijuana with their doctors' recommendations.

Please contact your state representatives now and urge them to co-sponsor and support HB 1393.

Media organizations across the state have covered the introduction. You can help keep the bill in the news by sending a letter to the editor of your local paper now.

If you are a medical professional or a patient who might benefit from medical marijuana, or if you know somebody who might benefit from medical marijuana, we would like to hear from you. Additionally, if you are a law enforcement official or a clergy member, please e-mail state@mpp.org to learn how you can be of special help.

Please forward this message to your friends, relatives, and e-mail lists so they can take action to support medical marijuana patients in Pennsylvania.

Sincerely,
